Ability: I have photoshop. I've colored pets before in CYO events. I used to own a pet shop, but there wasn't much activity. I've been posting in the shop a bit, once I'm more involved I'll hang around more.
Activity: I'm usually online from around 1pm till 1 or 2 am. I do have housework that I have to do during the day and I have my own art shop, but drawing and coloring only takes two hours of my time. On Monday evenings I go to class for 4 hours. But other than that my week is free. On weekends, when I have the money, I go to visit my bf. But that won't be every weekend.

Why do you want to work for Dreamers? I get bored quickly when I have nothing to do, and I think coloring pets will be fun, especially if I can work at my own pace without feeling pressured.
Tell me a bit about yourself: Well, I'm a pretty nice person. I like to talk to people online, irl I'm shy. I like literacy, but I'll often use abbreviations like "lol,irl, ftw, wtf" I love using the smileys. I like to play around with my friends here. I'm open minded and I respect other peoples opinions, so I expect the same from them. I can be stern when I need to be.

Ability: All in all, I feel I fit your requirements well. I am very creative, probably my best strong point. Sometimes I will get random Socratic ideas and feel the need to just color it out onto a pet. Sometimes my ideas are crazy and off the wall, and other times they are very simple yet still have that eye catching flavor. Sometimes, the lines of the pets themselves will "speak" to me if you will. I see certain things in them and color them. For example, in one of my non edited colorings, I saw a skunk. Who doesn't love cute fluffy skunks?
I am also literate, and I strive to do so. Spelling is not always my best feature, but that is what spell check is for wink I love to roleplay often, and able to do so in many forms for those who love to RP, and I love casual chatting as well for those who don't. I don't mind talking about anything, as long as I do not have to get into a serious debate about issues, then I would prefer it go to PM's or a friendly change of subject. I am also committed. Anything I take on, WILL be finished within a reasonable amount of time. There shouldn't be any instances where I can't finish something, and if there is, the buyer will be the first to know.
Activity: I am on Gaia at least every day. I have applied to be a full time colorist at Counterfeit Paradise whom are hiring also, and have owned a co-art shop in the past. The only offline commitment I have now is college until I am able to find a job, but I am still online regularly. I love talking to others, and especially role playing with others in many different threads. I also do take care of my grandma who lives with me, but have my parents to help with the majority of that, so really it should not be an issue.
Availability: I always reply to PM's as soon as I get them and threads as fast as I can. I also have AIM, MSN, Gtalk, and Yahoo to be contacted by and am on AIM, MSN, and Gtalk every day.
Why do you want to work for Dreamers? I love to color, especially since I have gotten my new pen tablet, and am looking for a colorist job to help better my skills, as well as have fun and be able to bring people's creations to life - so to speak.
Tell me a bit about yourself: I am a 21 year old college student, female. Currently in my third year of college, working to be a creative writing major with a minor in drawing, so hopefully can not only write children literature but illustrate my books as well. I am a big animal lover, and very fond of felines. My Gaia user name is a pun off feline in fact. I also love anime, NASCAR, Dirt track race cars, Harry Potter, and horror movies. My humor does tend to be a bit morbid at times, but it is very well controlled.

Ability: I love to color. The spectrum is what makes our world exciting and worth living for. To apply color to creatures to make them exciting is a whole new experience. It makes me feel like I'm sculpting life from scratch; manipulating color to create something new. I really hate using brushes unless it it something I really need to incorporate. Even if I do use brushes, I prefer not to just stamp it on and call it done; usually I only use part of the brush.
xxxI'm not a very sociable person when it comes to the physical world; this all changes when I come online. I love to randomly chat if I can put enough input in. If I can't, I like to learn more. I have an open mind and, well, it's fun to socialize with people without being judged or being tempted to judge others. I don't usually use chat speak, but I luff to do teh random wurds sometimez =P I do love smilies though, and I might go overboard at times <o<
Activity: Gaia is my new-found life. I'm on every day for as long as I can; sometimes I even defy my parents for those few extra minutes :3 I do work for Nefai of Faelwen [I seriously think I'm drawn to your artwork o.o] as a colorist. As for other plans, I might be selling some lineart in the future. I really don't want to have too many shops to work for and I only plan on working at two at a time as a full-time colorist. School is about to start, but I've always been able to do my work fast. I might go on hiatus when it comes to completing projects sometimes though.
Availability: I'm pretty quick to reply to threads and such as long as something hasn't popped up. I do have Yahoo Messenger, which is preferred to PM if we are having a long conversation. I will answer PMs though~

Tell me a bit about yourself: I am the most random person my friends know. I love to goof off; especially in threads. I have a great attention span and can deal with heavy loads of work. I hate the color pink and adore the color red. I'm half-chinese and proud of it. I love to sing but hate dancing. Most people think I'm older than I really am. I'm also really tall o3o Oooh and I luff meeting new people on the interwebz. I suck at drawing people, but hope to improve so I can fulfill an idea I just spawned <o<

Ability: What makes me creative is my imagination! I'm more of a lurker than a talker, in general I don't post in threads with too much traffic, but if I feel comfy I may contribute to conversations. I can't do edits as already mentioned, but a coloring depending on my mood and if I'm on a coloring streak can take from 15 minutes to an hour on these lines. I'll be honest in that I've never done a custom or breeding, and that when I tried to stick to a single theme after a few pets I kind of just got a coloring block and ended up coloring some pets which I wasn't too happy with. So basicly, themes tend to be my weak point since I color what comes to mind in general. May be a bit of a problem I'm not afraid to admit, but it shouldn't be too much of a problem so long as I don't have to do half a dozen colorings based on a narrow theme. Oh, and I don't usually color lines, don't know if that matters to you but just in case.
Activity: I'm on gaia at least a couple hours each day almost daily. I don't have any time-consuming real life obligations other than highschool. As for b/c shops, I currently own one which I color for, am going to soon enough open another, and currently applied for two other coloring positions, will update this post when results are in (one ends in just a few days, not sure when other one does). In the amazing chance I get hired by one or both others, I will say now that I'm positive I would still be able to complete the required work here should I be hired.

Tell me a bit about yourself: Am currently 17 and a junior in highschool (yeah, I'm repeating a year, if you must know details feel free to pm me about it). Don't have much of a life, have only two rl friends, one who lives in another country and one who lives in another state. So yeah, I spend most my free time on the computer.

I'm a Roleplay Master!
Sample: Journal for solo. Only one entry since I just got her last month and she's my only one. Though she's due a second entry. >< The winning prompt is here.
Example of the longest: Parisa wrapped the shawl around her shoulders tighter to prevent it from falling down her arms. She now regretted taking it. It was bound to get in the way. But it added to the illusion of her outfit much better with it. She'd just have to bare with carrying it all night. If only it was longer. The size of it was the biggest she could find.
For people who knew her, the clothes she had decided to wear were nothing out of the ordinary. She didn't like to don the brands the other teenagers did. She preferred to stand out more. A sleeveless shirt with straps pulled off the shoulders to hang on her arms covered most of her upper torso, which was a rare sight. Every shirt she owned stopped somewhere above her stomach. This one fell a few inches below the waistline of the purple skirt fluttering around her legs. It was ruffled on the bottom and raised up on one side towards a little yellow bow. On her feet were a pair of her own slippers, a tiny heel giving her small frame a little height. Gold hoop earrings and jewelery banged together in a sweet sound from her neck, wrists, and ankles.
Chloe had disagreed with her choice of costume. Parisa, however, had stubbornly put her foot down. Sure, it was almost exactly the same to her normal dress. But few people knew her, if at all. She could afford to change her old clothes around into a costume. Besides, it wasn't like she'd normally wear this bandanna on her head or the skirt. And the shirt was far too long. So it was something she would only wear once a year.
The dark haired girl stepped through the doorway, turning her head this way and that as she scanned the decorations and people. Not a big turnout. But, hey. It was early, still.
Example of the shortest: Parisa's green eyes trailed over the dress once more at the comment about a tail. With most of her attention on the jewels, she'd only had a small glance at the bottom of the skirt. Now that she looked, she noticed that, up close, it looked a bit better than it did far away. Definitely like a fish tail. Not bad.
"It looks fine to me," she replied. "I could tell from over there." The frilled fortune teller shawl slipped down her arms, again. She pulled it back up to cover her shoulders. "I'd like to go see what they have in refreshments. Care to join me?" With one hand, she waved towards the table, her fingers with the red painted nails holding tight to the shawl.
Ability: I don't talk much in general, 'specially in more active threads. I'm quiet. But I do have a sense of responsibility when I'm apart of something and tend to do my best to make appearances often. Including trying to strike up conversations. Not that I hate talking to people. I'm just quiet by nature.
Far as getting people involved and ideas, I can be slow. When I come up with something, I like to get critic/suggestions from other people. I work faster when there is something on the chalkboard as opposed to a blank slate. I also get my ambition to do something when I get inspiration for a plot or idea. And I work better without the pressure of deadlines. I like my breaks to do other things and play games very much.
Activity: I come on Gaia every day for quite a few hours. Usually here during the day and on Ragnarok Online after supper. Unless Gaia or RO have something planned. It's dorky for me to say, but I'm in a guild that participates in the twice a week war between guilds over castles, and will be the co-leader of another for a different castle war soon. Far as obligations go until I get a job, those guilds are the only ones.
Online, Gaia and RO are the main two. I poke around in Breedables a lot, sometimes venture outside when my threads get slow. I'm not an employee in any other shops, nor plan to since I can't color well enough. I'm more a pixel artist.
Offline, I don't really do much. I'm not very social and enjoy my quiet time more than it. I write, draw, and play games most of the time. Doll sometimes. Fun stuff. ;D
How would you like to be paid? Pets or gold works for me. I'm addicted to both dressing my avvie and owning pretties. <3 I'm also good with nothing, since I'd be getting writing practice and experience.
Tell me a bit about yourself: Well, I covered that I'm quiet, enjoy games, writing, drawing, and being by myself. I'm friendly and tend to be more silently when I'm annoyed or something is bothering me. I've been into Breedables since '05 and took a few year break, so I don't really have as large a collection as other people do. I also only have one RP-required, which, by far, has to be my favorite part of B/C. Telling the life-story of someone from birth to adulthood is just awesome.
I want to get to know you better, since I think we'll work better together that way.

Sample: It was a calm night on Evereau. A light breeze began to pick up in the hills. A young boy Nova's ear's twitched as he noticed the change in the wind. "It's gonna get colder. I better find somewhere to keep warm for the night." He said as he looked up at the crescent moon with his luminous golden eyes. He dashed off into the forest, past the trees in hope to find a hide-away from the cold night air. Hiss black fur blended in with the darkness that the trees made from blocking the moon. He looked as if he were a ghost, haunting the woods. He slowed to a stop when he noticed small paw marks on the ground. He bent his head down to see who's tracks they were. " These are my tracks. i must be going in circles." He said with a saddened look upon his face. His black and orange tipped ears dropped down. He sighed. Then his ears perked back up when he heard something frightening. "Hello? Is anyone there?" He called out, hoping that he wasn't alone. After waiting for a few moments he headed out again. A calm walk this time. He passed many trees that looked all the same. He slowed to a stop once more when he saw a beautiful flower under a thorn bush. "Why hello there little flower." He said playful as he just stared at it beauty. There were some berries in the bush. "Maybe a little snack will help me get out of this cold." He said with a smile. He began to pluck the bright crimson berries with his black paws. After he ate enough to fill him up, he heard a twig snap. This had startled him and stepped on one of the berries. It popped under the pressure of his paw and stained his paw. He quickly darted for any signs of cover. He found an old tree that had a hole dug under it. "I should be safe in here for the night." He said as he climbed down the hole. He listened out for any unfamiliar sounds. There was nothing, nothing to be afraid of. He began to curl up into a little ball. He closed his eyes and went to sleep slowly. He was safe for the night and nothing would harm him.
Ability: I love to RP with different people and I come up with some ideas for plots. I'm a very outgoing person in RL so that shouldn't be a problem.
Activity: I'm on Gaia almost everyday, but that can change when I get a job or have more classes in college.
