It's over.
I've had enough of the fighting.
My medical condition and my family come first, not an online shop.
I WILL BE GETTING OWED BATTYS DONE (From the January Auction and growing them)
But after that, no more.
The shop will be going up for sale, along with Dreams Aflight.
Chobi or Zsabrina, if you wish to buy the battys back at the price that we paid for them, you are welcome to contact DemeterJade, else I will be setting up a sale thread for them.
I'm sorry if you still hung out in the shop or wished to, but I can't take it any more.
Don't expect to see me around much either.
If you want uncerts or anything else with your battys, post in the shop.

You can only claim one egg or familiar every 30 minutes (from your previous claim)
First come, first served.
Send trade to mule as soon as it is confirmed that the egg/familiar is yours.

Make sure all your hatched bats are named else you can't buy any

How do I get one?
Flatsales, Customs, Events and the odd chance that someone is auctioning a bred egg

Can I be staff? (colorists, mods etc)
At this point no. We aim to be a simple shop and having lots of extra staff may get in the way of that

Are they RP required?
You do not need to RP your bat to get it to grow. But to breed (for same gender breedings) or recieve other benefits, then RP is required

Do we need to have unique names?
Only if you want to. Certs aren't sorted by name, but by how new the bat is to the shop (they're numeric)

Where do we get uncerts from?
From here. Have a look for yours by checking the number of your cert (the url for all G-B certs is http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn236/gaiabc/GBcerts/(b#here).jpg) then looking for the B-number in the link given.
This is a photobucket account sorted by last uploaded so the more recent your dropoff/growing, the closer to the top it will be
Please save uncerts to your own server, to save on our bandwidth!

Is there a guild?
Nope. We dont feel that one is needed. If you want to keep journals of them, I'm sure you can find a place and RPing can be done in the B/C RP forum or in thread ^_^
If this ever changes, it will be announced.

Can I give my bat to someone else?
Although the bat wont like it, you may transfer ownership to someone else. However, you can only do this for free once. Every time you wish to change the ownership of that bat again, it will cost you 1000g.

Back before Gaia was populated with Gaians, it was covered with animal life. One type of these animals was the Celestial Bat. They were rare even back then, only coming out at the deepest darkness of night and feasting on a mixture of fruit and small insects. Once Gaians moved in, the bats became even harder to find. their natural habitat was destroyed to make room for buildings and they were forced to relocate to some remote caves.
Years of Grunny, zombie and alien attacks have taken their toll on the already depleted Celestial Bat population, leaving just a few living in their caves.
Then Gaians started taking notice of the remaining bats. Many searches were done, looking for any remaining adults. But the population was weary of the Gaians and the only things they found was a small clutch of eggs. These eggs were shared out between a few caring Gaians with the aim to repopulate Gaia with the Celestial Bat again.

Things we have noticed about Celestial Bats

* Their feet are feet, not able to hold onto anything to hang upside down.
* They sleep on high cave ledges, usually huddled in groups, their wing wrapped around them for warmth
* They lay eggs rather than have live births. Theory is that it is to make it easier on bats who are not part of a coven
* Their " nests" are usually a semi-flat area in the back of a cave, as high from the ground as they can find that is safe.
* Their Wings have one hook-like talon on each. This is presumed to be for hanging from branches, spearing pieces of fruit or in defense.

Eggs

This is where all Celestial Bat life begins. They remain nicely warm in their egg until they are ready to hatch. The colors of the eggs for some reason they show the colors and sometimes the patterns of the bat inside them.
Eggs are roughly 3cm tall (just over 1 inch)
Stage lasts around a week

Pups

After hatching, these hungry pups are actively forming bonds with their carers and other bats. Personalities emerge but no matter how independent they may think they are, they still rely heavily on their human carer.
Perma-pups happen as well. It usually indicates something going wrong with the egg and so they are unable to grow to adult stage or breed. It takes a really kind soul to take them in as they usually need more care than normal Celestial Bats. (These are "event" bats, cannot be gotten from customs or in flatsales)
Pups are around 5cm (2 inches) tall and wingspan is around 25cm (10 inches) from tip to tip
Stage lasts around 3 weeks

Adults

Adult bats are usually completely independent from their carers and are looking for love. Although they may still keep contact with their carer, many form small covens and spend the rest of their lives in the bat community.
Adults are roughly 10cm (4inches) tall and wingspan is around 50cm (20inches) from tip to tip.
Stage lasts forever

Bats love company, there's no denying that. These creatures seem to be the most attractive to celestial bats and thus relationships are formed.
Familars are no taller than 3cm and only bond to one bat in their lifetime

Love Potion The love potion must be bought by carers whose bats are looking into breeding. Only one potion needs to be bought for each pair.

Fertility Potion The fertility potions adds an extra egg to the breeding roll. This must be bought and used at the time the breeding is announced, you cannot use it after the amount of eggs has been decided.

Gender Change Was your bat born the wrong gender? Don't worry, it happens to the best of us. But instead of expensive surgery, one drink of this vial will "fix" everything. Effects can take up to one week to show. Can only be used at adult stage. Can only be used once per bat.

Angelic/Demonic Potion This is the potion that will show your bats personality in physical form. Some bats will sprout spikey parts while others go all soft and fluffy. Effects can take up to a week to appear.

Growth Halting Potion If you want your bat to stay at a certain (non-adult) stage forever, then this is the potion for you. Because your bat never reached adult stage, it will not be able to breed.
When this potion has been used, an image of the bottle is on the cert to signal to me that I'm not to grow it.

Growth Restarting Potion If you halted your bats growth but now want it to become an adult and breedable, this is the potion to buy. Within a week of drinking this potion, your bat will grow to its next stage.

Ahh amorè. What can be cuter than two bats in love? Oh, the eggs you say? Well, fair enough, I have to agree.

Bats can only breed twice.
Each breeding produces between 2 and 4 eggs unless you use a fertility potion
Same-sex couples must be lifemated and have RP backup before breeding. This is because if you are in a same-sex relationship, you need to show commitment, whereas mixed genders can have one night stands.
You must purchase a love potion at the time (this pays for the breeding)
If you wish to use a fertility potion, purchasing that and using it happens before the rolls for egg amount happens. Preferably at the same time as you request the breeding.
Angelic/Demonic has a 1 in 10 chance of passing to offspring

Basic Info
There are no line-edits or Cosplays.
Angelic and Demonic are by bribe only, contact the mule to offer.

Prices: Bats
Semi-custom - You pick up to 3 colors, colorist uses them as they will on your bat.
Costs 15k adult only 25k fully growing

Fully custom - You pick your colors and placement on the adult bat. Growing stages are done to colorists interpretation of that.
Costs 25k adult only 50k fully growing
Please add 10k for extreme detailed colorings.
