DFA and Slander have teamed up to offer up a couple of unique lined SoA! One will be completely free of charge, although there is a RP requirement: please see below for details. The other unique SoA will go to the highest bidder in an auction; this one will be free of RP requirements.

General Rules:
((These rules are still shamelessly stolen from the Mizimu event thread.))

1 - Everything has to be all happy and kosher with the rules of Shadows of Africa, and Gaia's TOS.
2 - Everything has to make DFA and Slander happy as well. This means...
____2a - no whining
____2b - no being a b***h
____2c - no downers or emos
____2d - no blatant cheerleading
____2e - no attempts to put others down
____2f - DFA and Slander are god here.
3 - You may enter for in both the free raffle AND auction, but you may only win one of them. Naturally, the free raffle will be scheduled to end before the auction
4 - We could not care less how many SoA you already have. None, one, or one hundred. Enter freely! And we will lay the smack down if anyone tries to pull a guilt trip. You have been warned. PLAY NICE.
5 - This event is for the conversion of adult and pre-existing SoAfrica to unique lines, ONLY. No kiddos, no gods, and the SoA must already exist on standard shop lines to qualify.
6 - You may request items or specific edits, within reason. However, we reserve the right to refuse to do anything that would be unrealistic within the shop setting.
7 - These SoA will breed on standard lines, as determined by the pride of the mother. They will NOT have unique-lined offspring, even if bred with another unique-lined SoA.
8 - HOWEVER, these SoA WILL have a chance of passing on some edits to their offspring if bred by DFA or Slander.
9 - More rules may be added at any time, as we think of them.

Starting bid: 350k (Starts at the base adult SoA custom price)
Min increment: 10k
Autobuy: Mini Angel Wings or Portable headphones (Yes, insane on purpose - because we doubt anyone is crazy enough to bid this!)
Ends: Thrusday 28th of Jan - 1pm PST at DFA's "stop" post!

Auction Rules

1 - Do not bid what you do not have!
2 - If you win, you may ask for ANY SoA in your (or a friend's) possession to be converted to unique lines.
3 - Absolutely no mules allowed. You may win a total of 1 SoA in this event - this means you can NOT bid on the auction if you have already won the raffle.
4 - Do not whine and most certainly, do not make any one else feel bad about bidding.
5 - On that same note, do not 'cheer' people on, and do not try to put anyone down either.
6 - Do not discuss your funds in thread.
7 - There is an anti-snipe rule in effect, with a 10-minute extension period after each bid.
8 - You do not need to RP if you win; SoAs are NOT RP required (although you will have to RP if you wish to breed).
9 - You may not co-bid or co-own the auction SoA.
10 - Monthly collectibles, rares and evolving items accepted. If the value is over 50k, it's probably okey-doke!
11 - Items priced at 90% Tektek! Please look here for an easy way to calculate 90% Tektek.
12 - Use yesterdays Tektek price! Please be aware the numbers will fluctuate, and your bid should reflect that.
13 - Please limit the items/letters in your bid to no more than 12 (1 trade's worth). We will make exceptions in some circumstances, but prefer to keep things as tidy as possible.
14 - More rules as we think of them!

Free Raffle times!

The math is that simple - all you have to do is win the raffle! This raffle ends 25th of Jan 2010 - 1pm PST at DFA's or Slander's STOP post.

Free Raffle Rules

1 - Each person gets one entry, no matter how many SoA you own.
2 - You must enter a qualifying SoA in your possession to be converted to unique lines.
3 - Absolutely no mules allowed. You may win a total of 1 SoA in this event - this means you can NOT bid on the auction if you win the raffle.
4 - You must have completed at least 15 RPs with the SoA you wish to enter.
5 - These RPs must have been started and finished before January 18th, 2010.
6 - Submitted RPs must be of a suitable length, subject to our approval. We WILL check the winner, and if the RPs do not qualify then we WILL re-roll.
7 - We don't care how long you've had that SoA, just how much you've actively RPed it.
8 - You do not need to RP more if you win; SoAs are NOT RP required (although you will have to RP if you wish to breed).
9 - More rules as we think of them!
