I'm broke, can I have something anyway?

Most likely the artist will not just give you a custom graphic for free. Scroll down to our Freebies post and see what we have to offer. Or, the artist may be willing to negotiate the amount or accept another form of payment (items, trades, etc.) If that is the case, the artist will tell you so in his or her shop description.

What do DBA and DBN mean?

DBA and DBN stand for Designs by Ace and Designs by Necroscape, respectively. They're our individual shop names. Whenever we refer to one of our shops we may use these abbreviations instead of "Ace Shop" or "Necroscape's Post" -- it's just much clearer in connotation. For example, if you see something like "New <DBA> Announcement" in the thread title, that means there is an announcement to read in Ace's shop, "Designs by Ace." Make sense? It's pretty simple.

Image Maps ~ 5k ( 6k for irregular-white or transparency, 4 links maximum. 250g per each additional link. )
An image map is a handy tool for signatures or the concise-minded Gaian, because it allows you to link to an infinite number of pages with one simple code. When an image map is ordered I will make both the image and code the map file that makes the whole thing possible, however, you must host your map files on your own server! Or, additionally, I charge a 1000g fee for hosting map files.

Wishlists ~ 6k ( 7k for irregular-white or transparency, 4 items max, 100g per additional item, 250g for irregularly shaped boxes. )
Boxes, in this case, are the shapes around each item. You can choose to have each item on your wishlist encased in their own "boxes" or "boxed" all together, and you can opt to have your "boxes" custom-shaped. ( Example ) See order form for details.

*Note: For an additional 1000g I can make your wishlist a combination image map & wishlist. This will cause the items on the wishlist to link back to the tektek item page or the item search in the Gaia marketplace, NOTHING ELSE. Your items cannot link to your threads, etc. Order an Image Map for that. Hosting fees still apply!

Payment:

I accept both pure gold and art trades as payment for my work. I do NOT accept graphics
trades. If you would like to pay in avi art you must PM me at least two examples of
your art. From there we will discuss what size/type art gets what size/type graphics. If you
do not have enough pure gold for a transaction you may offer items that are on my wishlist
-- but only after I approve the item! Do not PM me for this, post your offer in the thread.
Mixed offers are okay as long as the total value of gold and items equals the pure gold
value of the design. I'm not expecting MCs or anything like that, don't worry. I'm not that
smug about my work, haha. Mostly all that I have on my wishlist is commons anyway. <3

Ace's Quest: 10 Million Gold!

My real goal is to have a huge, fabulously successful art contest.
As most of you know, art makes Acey deliriously happy. However, in order
for it to BE a fabulously successful contest I have to have a prize -- one
big enough to attract artists of a higher caliber. I figure 10 million to
split up among various categories should suffice.. but 10,000K is a LOT!
I'm going to need all the help I can get on this one, guys. ; o ;
