Comments: That profile made me want to watch
Tommy.
I wasn't actually sure what to think of Georgie at first. I read through the profile a few days ago, but I didn't have any strong opinions that surfaced through. Normally even on my first read-through of a profile I'm already finding and noticing things that I'd like to point out, but reading this one ... I didn't. Which is a good thing, I've decided.
xd
The history could've used some sort of lead-up into the RP you mentioned to tie everything together a little bit -- you explained his past, his present situation, but it cut off there and I didn't get a good feel for his purpose as a character, if that makes any sense. It just seemed like it ended too soon, or something. I didn't have a feeling of me having read everything important about the character.
I can't say I come across many drug-addicted characters like this. Usually when people tend toward drug abuse/addiction in their OCs it's more of a completely negative tune, like the antagonist being a cokehead or something. I'm always a big fan of drug use not portrayed either as a D.A.R.E. sort of thing (i.e.: "only the bad people use drugs!"
wink or just an excessive "Look at this character, he's so badass he takes drugs!"
And I also like how he's not a stereotypical "Duuuuude, that's trippy, maaan" stoner. Just very well done personality and history overall, I don't have any complaints. You've taken something that could've been horribly stereotypical and done a good job with it. Reminds me somewhat of Sherlock Holmes, actually, who would only take cocaine when off of a case because he was bored with the monotony of life then.
My only beef with history is, again, that it seems to cut off too soon.
Profile Execution is many points, because goddamn you wrote it in first person. I would have seriously become an hero if I had to do that.
whee Not an easy thing, and definitely a nice combo of out-of-the-ordinary and effective to make it a nice read. 'Course, because of the very nature of that, it suffers from a complete lack of physical description; I can see how it would be hard to have the character kind of naturally describe himself in a profile, but I'm still curious.
And the colors didn't bother me, despite my bad vision.
So, yes, I don't really have many complaints on this profile, either. Your score is, in pretty much every category except Physical Design, nearly as high as it can get.
