August 28th: I feel the need to address something about Gaia that greatly affects my charity. I've put it off for a long time, mostly under the assumption that users understood, but it's been awhile and there are newer people that don't even realize something happened.
Back when I started this charity, 2005, I'd happily "donate" $5 a month to receive two monthly collectable letters. It was a show of faith it the company and also the only thing you could purchase with real life money. After that month was over you'd have to purchase the item from another user with gold. This policy has dramatically changed for the worse! There is no longer a standard for dedication, but only a worship to the almighty dollar. That is why I have not bought Gaia Cash for about 3 years now and will never do so again unless changes are made.
I'm putting this in writing so that anyone seeking a donation, looking to give to the charity, or just curious about Dreamcatchers can understand.
Any and all donations given are either earned by myself or generously gifted from others with a dedication in the following post. I hope you understand that this can be 'limiting' on my part. This is one of the longest running Charities on Gaia and I'm very invested in it. I've never been interested in personal gain and would love to give more, but I refuse to compromise my values and buy into this new money grab. I hope this clarifies, but I'll provide a few user links to explain more of the Gaia Conspiracy. The only reason I'm still here is the wonderful, awesome, intriguing people that I meet and my wish to help.

~An Extended Donation System for Dedicated Questors~

About Adoption
This is a special program for those Gaians that need and deserve something extra. An adoptee will recieve weekly donations of at least 1 Billion in gold or items depending on the charities funds. The total amount donated will vary but will not exceeded 50 Billion. Those donated to will be kept on until their quest is completed, or the maximum amount has been reached.

What we look for in Gaians we Adopt:
Those who will be considered for adoption must display a dedication, not only to their quest, but to getting the most out of Gaia. Yes pixels are shiny and pretty, but they are not the most important thing. To be considered you must also show an active interest in the charity by posting in the thread and/or participating in our numerous contests.

-Please only apply if their is an OPEN spot indicated below-
-You must be active in the thread for at least one week prior to applying for adoption-
-You must have been an active member of Gaia for at least two months-
-The item you are questing must be over 10 billion-
-You must meet all other donation requirements as explained in the rules post-
-You must stay active** in the charity thread on a regular basis-
-You must be actively working towards your quest-
-Please post both the donation form and the adoption form when applying-

**Active would be described as posting often and not one every week or so.
