I had a thought upon seeing today's LQR. The Hoedown south companions should get a special individual release. Like, I'd look into buying each individual if I knew they came in 8 colors + skintones (like booming with alruna skin and demon candy with oniki skin). Heck, the colors of the clothes could remain the same for each, just make it in all fantasy skins.

At the poll: The end of the day, the color scheme and item matter more than skin tones. I immediately got Chasing Buggy Swells because I loved bugberry that much, and had enough variety of other items that I could use the fantasy skins.

I had to steal the CSU today because we finally, finally, FINALLY got fantasy skintones again. It's only the second new item of 2025 to have them (the first being Tale of Two Tails, which was also in Offchrome back in March). Egads. gonk

I hope there's more to come, especially since it's selling at a decent clip. Apparently fantasy skintones are still not a deterrent if it's a popular item and/or scheme. Pop Shop Fiend next, maybe...?

There's no way the new (human version) Landscapes doesn't sell out, right? XD?

For my own poll answer -- I'll buy a fantasy skintone recolor of pretty much anything at least once, regardless of the item or scheme. We rarely get two of the same item anyway. I have definite preferences for schemes and colors, but sometimes getting an item with the skintone I use in a scheme I don't specialize in helps me use it more creatively and/or encourages me to try that scheme for once. Or... that's my justification, anyway, even if it doesn't always work right away. (Lookin' at you, copy of Beloved Low FrequenScene I have yet to equip. stare ) And if the leg poses stack, that's just an added mix-and-match bonus!


I'd love to see this. I'm not a companion person (I can clutter up my avi just fine on my own, thanks XD), but it'd be really neat to see a variety of companion skintones as their own thing. Or like... a recolor RIG of just companion poses? Something like that?

Yay, fantasy skins + zombae! I mean, I'll admit... I don't use/buy GC often, even when fantasy tones are involved. I have to like the item and be able to use the scheme. This? Nah. I didn't like the item when it came out, still don't like it now. So, it doesn't make sense to buy it even if I want to support more usage of grombie and co. Like, say, when I bought A Little Classic Koalaty Time, Hop to Snapdragon, or I am Inverse Floof. Have yet to use any of them. Love 'em, though. And I will eventually~ just, y'know. I'm shamelessly thrifty.

Ooh. Enchanted Landscapes is nice. I might wait for a recolor -- again, not sure I'd use it right now -- but I like it. The fairylights pose is my favorite. I'd nab a triple treat recolor of that in a heartbeat. emotion_bigheart Also, the promo pic using the old fairy grave/tomb item made me smile.
