I wasn't sure if I was going to pick up a Reynard item or not, but I am tempted in this colour scheme.

Unsure about the Pure Pop Shop Fiend coming out later. I lwill probably still pick it up, but I find items with lots of little details always look better in colour schemes that have multiple colours so that you can see the details more clearly. When it's all one colour the details tend to get lost.

Pass today. LQR isn't my thing and the BE just....idk..
I love pure for like extra details on my avis but it doesn't look good on this item. It's an item that has so many placements so washing it out kinda sucks rip..
I think amaranth or pb or somethin would be cute.
Daily request for lapin, grey cat, etc.

dang ive been waiting for a pop shop fiend recolor mostly bc i wanna see what the colour placements are like but well. pure is def not a scheme that will give me any insights on that front xd : so i guess ill cross my fingers that its next recolour comes out fast... it does look kinda blobby in pure but tbf most pure item previews look like big blobs to me anyway... maybe separated the poses look less muddled.

still not big on reynards so easy skips today.

edit: the pop shop flairs are real cute. i like that theres multiple options. but why only 4 flairs this month? arent theyre usually at least 5 or 6?

wowww that has to be THE most underwhelming recolour of pop shop fiend we could’ve possibly gotten lmao
go on girl, give us nothing!! Like even if you wanted the jacket in ivory, the original colourway already had that! I hate pure with gold but gold would’ve at least given it some level of dimension… disappointing.

Reynaud’s is cuuuute in Kaguya. Very sweet for the last few weeks of spring.

Neither scheme is my cup of tea personally, but at least Reynard has color that is well placed. I was looking forward to something intensely colored with fun placements for Pop Shop Fiend and Pure is... So the opposite of that.

I honestly believe Pop Shop Fiend and others like it should not be recolored in this scheme (or other limited color ones) ever. It needs multiple different colors to make it work right. I fully admit even my beloved Byzantium wouldn't work on this item for the same reason. There needs to be contrast to see the various parts clearly and not just have it look like a blob. Even the skirt pose looks wrong with the belt in the same color. A selection of accessories from the item would be a better choice if you HAD to release a Pure version.

I was hesistant because of the pink foxes, but I wanted the puzzle and I like that scheme so I still got one.

Also, they do seems nice looking with withered backgrounds, so I'm surely going to try to make a scenic with them later smile

Foxes come in orange? eek Madness. (I jest, of course.) I'd still like a cherie with poppy recolor. The colors are bright enough to work for spring and fall. Also, I'm old-school Gaian enough to like cherie. There's that.

Pass on the Pop Shop. It's just... a big, fluffy blob of offwhite/ivory that doesn't do much for me. Like others said, lots of colors help to differentiate the item and make it more fun. I can still see it being useful for other people! It'll be popular, for sure. Pure always is. Simply kinda meh for me, personally, and that's okay. I don't need to like every item. Happy day for the pure enthusiasts~

It could've been recolored as a whole or had the rose bodice (with or without the sheer bit on top) and skirt part separated out. Dude. I would've bought that as a bodice so fast and so hard.* Hm. Maybe there's still a chance? There's a little bit of spring left.

*Yeah, yeah. I know that I can make my own pseudo-bodice with Hana or Alleycat cutters but, hey. A sale- or trunk-style recolor would mean 8-10 colors in one and I like that math more.

Thanks for the thread! Nothing much inspiring me to spend big $$$ today. Colour schemes and all that, i will wait for a different reynard recolour (N A T U R A L)

I wish I used more flairs, i never remember to equip the ones I have and the ones I like (basically any cat themed one) were all released during my various hiatuses. I like the idea of forum flairs, but if it's not got cats then what is the point....? cat_confused

I wasn't able to offer anything on Pop Shop when it first came out.
It sucks that it is so childish. I think labubu's could be better represented another way - it's the same style/silhouette we always get & doesn't give us anything different.

Not to mention that the eyes/mouth/face looks bad on darker skin tones - it shows lack of care about details and honestly its lowkey oof.

I really do not understand why you'd show off being a fan of labubu's by buying an off-brand Gaia copy - I think an actual labubu would be better??

I wish we got less references that are recolored over and over.
It is pretty boring in terms of releases.

The monthly update flairs are re-used assets that are...again why not go buy a labubu?
