still hoping we get tail of two tails in envious or another dark green at some point- that tail would look FANTASTIC!

new LQI is fine... theres already about 10000 maid items on gaia so new maid items never feel that *new* in a way to me. ill probably pick up a cheap recolor at some point, i like the sleeves and apron.

Ugh the new lqi had a lot of potential. Why not kaguya? Why this ugly peach tone thrown into the hair? This isn't even a existing scheme. And the added gradient looks rough as well. Like she went to the salon and got a little botched especially the part around the face. Idk very disappointed in that ngl. Hopefully future recolors it looks better. Idk if I want to even get this one. Eh.


Bring back umamis please. Having two color options for a new item, that given variety is always nice. I think if I had two color schemes to choose from i wouldn't feel this negative over the peach in the hair aspect. But idk. Maybe i still would. Who knows at this point, Gaia itself is in a negative corner of my brain right now. rofl seems all we ever get are over priced bundles and terrible rig odds.


In saying that,

please give a BE rig this week or something. It's felt boring and lack luster on here for a while now. Isn't helping create a positive look to the site. Just boring and let down still. Atleast offers got a update in MP so im a little happy about that.

Pass on the lqr. I did pick up the new LQI but idk how I feel about it....theoretically its right up my alley with the cherry blossoms, the pink, the umbrella....but it leaves a LOT to be desired. The random orange in the hair is so bizarre with the rest of the scheme. That background log looks EXACTLY like ones we already have, like it literally looks copy/pasted with some cherry blossoms slapped on. The dress is achingly simple. Idk, theyve been coming out with some really well done stuff lately but this is....sloppy and bad. Should have looked at the breakdown before I impulse bought it so thats on me but man it sucks seeing a concept I should absolutely LOVE, wasted. Amazing concept, egregiously bad execution. I'm sure I'm the minority and people will absolutely love it and thats awesome. I just think it looks so amateur compared to what we have been getting lately. Sorry. If it means anything I still bought it🤷‍♀️ Basically I lied bc I definitely know how I feel about it lol. Thanks for the thread.

lqr i skip since its not a scheme i use

the item though is DELICIOUS, i absolutely love the poses! but not a huge fan of the scheme (and rlly not a fan of the peach/sweetberry gradient hair)

but pls... i'm begging... give us better placements to recolour, this is HARD

Pass on the LQR, but I want to try to pick up a copy of Maid in Pink. It's pretty samey and not necessarily the kind of style I go to often, but it's pretty and I'm a sucker for Sweetberry.

I'm also probably in the minority because I really like the addition of Peach -- it's one of those Miori non-scheme staple colors that helps break up all the pink/white/brown. (See Fueled Up Fed Up, Shear Gravity Sky, Terrabud & Terrabloom, Memorable Summer Nights, Heart on Her Sleeve, etc. for more pops of Peach!) As an aside, I'd really like to see the Terrabud/Bloom scheme codified, but since it changes a little with every new LQI, it'd probably be difficult since you'd be listing, like, 12+ possible colors... sweatdrop

I want to like the new LQI....but theres only like 3 poses I see myself using.. That peach clashes with the amaranth, so maybe a recolor or smth. Hopefully something with white sleeves to match all of the other kimonos n such that I have.

I will always welcome new foliage options, but other than that one pose the lqi is pretty lackluster. Nothing special imo, especially for that price tag. Just happy we aren't being slammed with purple every day anymore I guess.

Edit/ should have just made the hair all peach or cut it from the final lqi. I'm more partial to billiant peach myself, but I would be more excited to see some of the Amaranth broken up on the clothing poses instead.

Been wanting less formal kimono and Taisho maid type item too so this is right up my alley emotion_kirakira it’s pretty common theme so likely coincidence but does make me think of the maid Sakura Miku figure that came out semi recently

Was iffy about the Amaranth into Brilliant Peach gradient, on it’s own the hair looks fine but does feel a little off, guessing since the peach is only there and the face and that’s it? (It’s not bad but do think maybe Pearl into Peach or Amaranth would be cute)

      Hm. New item. Well, on the plus side... I'm weirdly adoring the ombre of sweetpink into peach? Did not expect that. But it's so pretty! Sure, it's a little rough here, but the potential is there. Sleeves are nice. The tree stump we can sit on is fun. However, this feels like a rinse and repeat of so many items that we already have. Tsunbani with an apron. Boring. Not bad! It's well pixeled and all that. I'm sure fans of Asian-style items will adore this and I totally get it. Simply not something I see myself wanting or using. Maybe if it comes in demure ('cause I love demure). Maybe.

      Tale of Two Tails is nice. I'm still waiting on a viper version, though. I'm usually ambivalent on the scheme but hot damn, it'd be perfect here. Or that new toxic spinoff I forget the name of (because it's new and we have a lot of schemes nowadays). That'd work, too. Pretty please? Green! Green is good~

      edit: Willowisp! (Or maybe there's dashes? Will-o-wisp.) That one. That new almost-toxic green scheme.

      edit2: I was avoiding my guides (shh) but, hey, green.
