Welcome back! How long has it been?

Oh gosh years honestly, I think I had a stint during lockdown where I came back on for a few, but I used to log on almost daily up until 2017 or 2018.

I was off from 2012 to mid-March, so I'm not even sure what changed when. How different are things than the last time you were really around? Not TOO bad, I hope!

Wow! I think over a decade away would have given me whiplash with how much the site has shifted. I don't think too much has changed other than old friends forums being dead from last i logged on, but from when i was active daily theres been quite a few shifts. mostly in the games department.

Yeah, it was.... unrecognizable in some ways, and exaaaactly the same in others! lol

There are some things I've picked back up relatively easily-- basic thread coding surprisingly being one-- but others are goooone, and I'm back in the "Welcome to Gaia" forum asking my newbie questions haha

Virtually every of my friends is gone, which is sad. Hope they'll be struck by the same random bolt of nostalgia I was someday!

I haven't TOUCHED the games. The only ones I really recall playing were Word Bump back in the ooooolden days, the occasional fishing, and more recently, Booty Grab, although again... recent is a decade ago lol

Coding is not my strong suit, but I really just missed old charity and quest threads and wanted to start one of my own again.

I was REALLY into zOMG and Booty grab when I was active, right now I'm mainly just feeling out the site again and doing runway stuff as i try to grind for items, inflation hit this place HARD in like 2015-2016

Yeah, that's what I hear told! Plat confused the s**t out of me when I first got here but it's rapidly making sense now. There's so many items it's almost impossible to put together a wish list... or I suppose rather it's hard to STOP making one, I keep adding and adding to mine. I gotta set an embargo until I get everything that's on it already!

I remember when zOMG came around, but to be honest I never got it. Not that I didn't get its appeal--- I never understood how to play lmao

I'm happy to help if you need any (granted, basic!) help with graphics or coding. It's fun, I can do lil' headers and stuff. My quest is linked in my sig, that's basic as helllll coding, and this is an art shop thread I'm designing for myself. My own stuff is usually very basic and not mega busy or colorful, but I have fun with it!
