Comments: So, I've been watching tutorials where they shade in greyscale before putting the flat colour on. Not sure it translates so well to traditional media. There seems to be a BIG tonal difference between the three lightest (warm grey 1, 2 and 3) and two darkest greys (warm grey 4 and 5) in my set.
They also refuse to layer, which is weird because with all the colours you can build up the saturation by layering the same colour a few times.

Whilst I'm not entirely happy with the end result it has given me a better idea of where I need to concentrate the light when I do a full glorious technicolour version later, so not a wasted afternoon.

So cuz I was on my phone it shows me the little icon I have to click to see the picture.
Me this morning: "oh, deffy quoted me. *checks thread* owha deffy made me art. DEFFY MADE ME ART OMG?! Wait omg really ooooooooo I'm so excited Deffy made me art!!!! Ahhhh she made me art she made me art!" *clicks image, proceeds to die*

It took me.... idk an hour? I just.....I was so blown away that my brain failed to process it for that long xDD
Thank you soooooooooo much for drawing me!!! I love it so so much heart heart heart the hair is amazing and the eyes look like fire and the expression is like "yeah I'm a badass so what" ahhhhh thank you!!!!

Comments: Can't say much abt this but this is a secret wip
The guy is tryna love his power but cant coz of what happened in the past
so his friends in the cafe where he works at helps him love his power and to accept him sorta. Tht's where the 'love' theme

I really like the 5th one - i sketched that with a lower point perspective in mind so it'll be super duper cool to draw that even as a rough colored sketch
still gotta decide which one to go with - do lemme knw if u guys like anything - having a vague idea about these sketches may give u an outsiders pov even thou u maynt get whats happening in each scene so thtll be super fresh for me to rough these ideas more solid
