Most don't have it because it was either unnoticed (usually they're looking at the avatar) or artists didn't feel confident to draw it (you'll notice several pieces are without the accessories too and that beard would count as one). For instance, the image in the spoiler was WONDERFUL (dem braids emotion_drool dat skin tone emotion_drool dat makeup emotion_drool ) but it doesn't have the one thing to symbolize pharaoh. cry if you can do it, please do. it means a lot for her to have it since its essentially her proof of pharaoh-hood (I mean there are OTHER things that will symbolize her pharaoh-hood but this one was the easiest to do on gaia). most artists are so concerned about the braids (which i hear is really hard to do). i do ask that you include the beard, but if you can't its super okay emotion_yatta

It's easy to miss, but like me, the others probably don't know about the Pharaoh-hood symbolism. Not that we didn't learn in class, but it's definitely a detail easy to miss since she looked like the wife of a Pharaoh (at first glance).

lol heyyyy its coolio. The avatar is so small and while I have alll of these fabulous references, MOST artists don't use them. This group and a few others have DEF wanted to go ALL the way into my girls which really makes me happy. I find that they either go off what they can see for the avatar (no equips) or one of the full body pieces and most of them don't include that beard. Yeah, since females are typically pharaohs, I'm sure most people she her as just an egyptian princess or something despite her name (and mine sweatdrop ) and truly just glancing at it you pretty much see the braids, the white dress, and the gold pieces so thats what I think most people do. sweatdrop But, yeah, if I had it my way, the beard, gold bangles and all that goodness would be there 3nodding

Whaaaaa! yess! so the top one is adorbs since a friend of mine did, shes super cutie. And the second one yes i did get yesterday. I was super happy when the person did the beard and i was ahhhhh lol alot of my pieces are gorge but they dont have everything i want. So this would probably be the BEST reference I have:

The beard. The kiseru. The cat. The background. The braids. Even though its in the smug kinda painting style you can very clearly see the makeup and the accessories. THIS is what i'm looking for with Misa (and all my girls to be honest) I simply don't show this one because based off how she was rejected in the past, this painting makes her look EXTREMELY difficult. Its so nice and detailed that artist really get scared of it. Which makes sense, you want to do something thats relaxing not stressful. I just LOVE how the hieroglyphics are on the back wall. I never learned to read them mind you, but the fact that they're even there gives all the more meaning to her character. So now, ALONG with the avatar, I've selected an art piece that is simply to follow as well as getting as much as the detail as I want. (this is image heavy btw)

Each piece was specifically chosen to give a good 80% reference of what I'm looking to see for each avatar, INCLUDING what it would be like to add the extras, without making an artist panic. Artists typically don't want to do a background, but when I show these they're wayyyy more willing to add a moon or a series of butterflies than they were by just looking at the avatar.By doing so my acceptance rate has super gone up. The main thing stopping me is my inability to bribe rofl

This one is my ALL TIME FAVORITE (def for misa but maybe for all my girls?????) but it comes from my Misa x Atem folder. It has everything except the beard, but thats okay because she's in an intimate moment so it would be in the way:

UGH! This was a birthday present from an insanely talented artist who gave me THIS as a freebie and a few years later i hunted her DOWN. I intend to get one of each of my girls, whenever she comes back online. I got Aasha, Scheherazade, Misa, and Qamar. FOUR MORE TO GO emotion_donotwant She was super excited about it too. She loved yami as well and said she never tried an egyptian before. she was finished in two weeks but i gave her until my birthday (order late sept) and she was like OMG CAN NOVEMBER FIFTH GET HEREEEE I'm so excited I cant even. she had to legit send me faceless blobs and doodles just so she could keep the surprise for me and still ask for my input. It's not like you're asking for a large additional like a child or a pet lol

The beard wouldn't fit in that moment anyways, she's having an intimate moment. Pretty sure they wear it when they're in public (kinda like wearing a suit to work for the office, but wearing more relaxing clothing at home type of thing). Royalty or not, they're still human XD;; Soooo instead of feeling some pieces are missing, think of those in more private moments where she's not putting on a Public Face for her people and/or court.

Pretty sure a queen doesn't wear her crown to bed... >o>;;;;

But, yeah, don't get me wrong I get anxious when I dont get a response. Long ago I used to look at post histories to 'track' the person and be like BY WHY ARE YOU NOT RESPONDING TO MEEEEEE lol I was young and dumb and rude back that. But, I'm an adult now and I know for a fact that everyone has a life as silly as it sounds for some people. Like throughout the week when I'm online, i'm technically working. i take phone calls so i cant work unless theres a call. so i may respond later because a cal comes in and i have to work. but other times i could just not be in the mood to discuss "business" so i get it. other times i personally get alot of notification and i will MISS them so i know it has to happen to other people.

For me, some of the more serious/longer topics requires time and effort to reply to... if I don't have the time to really sit, read, and type an actual good response, I won't reply until a later date-- which sometimes, could be months. I would just have it sitting open in a tab.... buried in other tabs..... and then I re-discover it when I finally go, "Enough is enough, these tabs need to be cleaned up!" Then I sit down with a cup of tea, read, and shoot out my thoughts. When people reply with their heart, I want to reply with my heart in return.

Giving some shitty response and marking the check box that I've replied just doesn't sit well with me. surprised

lol i don't do that anymore. i only go into post history when i'm trying to find a thread i knew someone in or trying to find an artist's shop. they're not always in siggys or on profiles so sometimes i legit have to look lol, but i understand the need. gaia doesnt have a good way of showing if people are online. i think i changed my setting so i never appear online plus when i enter a profile it doesn't leave my name so i can stalk in peace. ninja

I've just always been a dull lightbulb. i WILL forget about you entirely until my brain wakes me up in the middle of the night and say dont you remember...??? thats why i schedule texts and stuff with my friends and family. because i will ONLY talk to my man and coworkers but i will forget everyone else because once you are out of my sight WAIT WHO THE HELL ARE YOU WHY ARE YOU IN MY HOUSE?????

Haha, honestly if I was an assistant i would legit have a layout that I would use all the time. lol I love being nice and having a personalize response, havign a layout makes life easier. especially if you wanna sound professional. i used to do that at my last job where i would send out emails it is VERY hard to sound profession when you're not in front of someone so i would have this really nice layout and then i would add my little touch to it.

Who I talk to daily differs, and this group have reached that daily where I check the thread when I wake up and I check our little chat because it's important to me. I don't always text my friends, but I reply when they respond to my last message or when they send something new to spark a conversation.

I find it easier to be professional when I am not in front of someone because I have a chance to write everything out, review it, and revise it until it's good. I'm not very nice in person because my immediate answer to anything not favorable to me is "No."

"Could I borrow $10?"
"Do you have $10?"
"Could you spare some change?"
"Can you buy this?"
"Could I get a face mask?"
"You guys got some gloves I can have?"

The last two is very specific because of my work... I could rant about it, but it's not very pretty XDD I just sound like a mean, cold-hearted b***h who don't care about other people's healthy. When in fact, they don't care about their own goddamn health (because obviously they didn't bring their OWN mask and/or gloves) and expects me to just give away valuable assets that were provided for us to stay safe as we continue to work during this pandemic.

Actually...believe it or not...she wasn't. My first was Qamar. (Well, no, Qamar was my first OC on gaia, my first ever oc was Katy Johnson; she was an OC that was a stupid childish mixture of danny phantom and totally spies. Followed by Katara Rogers a inuyasha add on??? The images at the bottom are mine when I THOUGHT I could draw??? and then Misachi Agaru a bleach OC. Not gonna lie even though I was trash, I was hella proud of Misachi and even managed to make an avatar for her. )

Qamar is my first gaia oc and believe it or not...her name was original Pharaoh Misa. You may have noticed this one in her gallery:

That because LEGIT pharaoh misa at the time! The assistant that you may have seen:

was created BEFORE the pharaoh misa you see today (the black skirt is actually her second outfit, but both outfits are pretty nice for a servant). It wasn't until....late 2014 I'd say that I truly even thought of making an ACTUAL Egyptian pharaoh. IDK if someone brought it up or if my brain said doesn't gaia HAVE egyptian items?? Thus, pharaoh Misa was born. 3nodding I realized that the storyline I was using I could change around??? Most espcialy based off the art I got!

what if....instead of being a pharaoh...she was simply a goddess?? It was weird because she DEF wasn't an egyptian one but who said I had to conform to the Egyptian gods' rules. Maybe there was pantheon of gods and this particular one loved misa....I had to come up with a pretty name for her and eventually settling on Qamar. It was a muslim name i had played around with for naming a daughter if i ever had one (dont think i'll use it now lol) and thus QAMAR was born lol. The reason they have the most pieces is because they're the oldest and you can see their art dating back to 2014. I then starting coming up with each girl but i couldn't tell you the time frames on them. The only one I know for a fact what the time frame is Aasha. She was my day 18 for an avatar contest I had in 2015. I don't have a date for her but I'm assuming Iah was made around may 2015. I have an avatar arena posting of her and that same year there was some writing contest on gaia that i joined where i used her backstory for...

In any case, when it comes to RLC I'm a lot more um please if you could than I am with gaia gold. But, I still dont have the heart to demand things. I guess thats why I've been trying to perfect their profiles and such so that people feel MORE comfortable doing things. I think all of the girls are very reasonable but I'm not an artist so i cant really say what should be standardly reasonable or not you know? I can only tell em what i want and hope that it matches their talents.

Oh the artist is LayDeDeadpool from the other post! You may have seen her way back in the day haha. IDK if shes still drawing currently she was away for a long while . cry
