That's a fair point. Digital art has more of a learning curve imo. Everyone has done traditional art at some point, even if they were just some kindergarten doodles. cat_lol

I followed a tutorial and adjusted. I started with a white pencil, then a white marker pen (faber castell) which was brighter than pencil but got absorbed a bit, then layer it on and finally a white gel pen for outlines & highlights 3nodding

✿ Using Tutorials is always so enlighting! It came out really pretty~ ^^ ✿

Comments: I kinda like how i went about with the painting process for the hair. I didnt really like how i did the process for hair before. Im gonna explore a bit more with this method...
I used flattest brush for the sketch and lineart! =D i hate lineart but i decided to try to get a decent lineart... never again or if i do, imma save the painting for another day. hand hurts too easily.

now tht i look at it, i wish i couldve used a bit more white highlights to make it pop a bit more.. hmm -thinks-

oh yeah! i was exploring facial expressions in this and i used the expression B2
True, it doesnt really look like that but i felt chii's avi doesnt really match coz she looks more mature and ladylike so she ended up looking a bit cute-y pouty smile instead sweatdrop
And oh look! this looks less chibi style lol!

I've got wedding stationary to make for my brother, a book to write and illustrate for my art therapist and homeschooling the kids until this virus is over.

I'm planning on carrying on drawing every day. Last year I took a week off when we finished and didn't do anything at all until October >.<

you gots a good list! hopefully you can be in the mood to finish those!
I feel you, i think I did the same thing, drawing slowed down, tried to craft but that didn't work out so well.
