                Pokenoids

                Pokenoids may be male, female or any gender inbetween.

                The shop reserves the right to refuse to do business with any one person.

                Artwork

              • Every stage costs 1 Gaia Gold.
              • You may not sell your pokenoid. You may sell it back to the shop at the original price.
              • All members are allowed a restricted personal license use of character art.
              • An artist may choose at any time to revoke personal license thereby refusing to have their art be
                used as a character's artwork. The owner will be refunded or given new art at the shop's discretion.
                New character concept art will be 75% or more different in design.
              • Credit must be given for the shop and the artist(s) for the art when image sharing.
              • You may only post the watermarked image of your pokenoid on other websites, such as Deviantart.
                PM Pokenoids for a watermarked version.

                Acquiring A New Character

              • You must have a submitted certification form within 7 days from the date you won a pokenoid or
                purchased them.
              • If you need more time for certing you must contact Pokenoids for an additional 7 day extension.

                Leave of Absence

              • If you will be away from the shop for an indefinite period of time, starting at 30 days, you must
                submit a notice to Pokenoids titled "Leave of Absence". No reason is necessary but you must state
                your date of return.
              • If you need more time you must contact Pokenoids for an extension, approved at the shop's
                discretion.
              • Failure to notify the shop will result in your membership being placed on probation.

                Probation

              • Your pokenoids may be taken away at the shop's discretion.
              • Featues of the shop may be locked for your membership at the shop's discretion, including but not
                limited to thread participation, guild participation, events, acquiring new pokenoids, battling,
                breeding, and etc.

                Blacklisting

              • Zero tolerance policy concerning abuse, harassment and other behaviors which compromise the
                safety and wellbeing of our guests, memebers and the integrity of the shop.
              • If you are banned from the shop your pokenoids will be taken back by the shop and no refund will
                be given.

                Pokenoids are the property of Nintendo, Pokehuman hybrids with IRL gaming capabilities. They are
                the signature item for the newest Pokemon cross-virtual reality game.


                Growth

                The lifecycle of pokenoids may be somewhat erratic and fast paced, lending to a stage chart to best
                quantify the pokenoids health and development. On average they are more capable and independent
                than their human counterparts. However they will still require adequate nurture and protection until
                they are fully independent. Growth requirements can be found here.


                Evolution

                A pokenoid may evolve up to three times in its lifecycle, dictated by special demands of their DNA.

                Family Planning

                Pokenoids are unable to produce offspring on their own. The Family Planning Ward located at your
                nearest Pokemon Center is closed for renovations at this time.

                Since the release of the Pokemon games, everyone has always dreamed of one day being able to
                walk the lands they explored with their handheld games. With the use of the newly released and widely
                popular VR headset, all those dreams are now becoming a reality!

                With the VR headset you are able to plug in to the Pokemon world and explore many of the beloved
                regions like Kanto and Johto! New region DLC will be available for the VR Headsets as new games
                and regions are available.

                Can't spend all your day in VR? The VR Dex is the perfect companion and is included when the
                bundle is purchased. The VR Dex is basically a phone that lets you access your Pokedex, items,
                player information, and even has some social aspects that allow you to battle and chat with other
                trainers! With the VR Dex you are able to take pictures of other trainer's Pokenoid Hologram images
                to fill out your Pokedex! Please be respect the Pokenoid's and always ask for permission before
                snapping a photo! As of right now Pokenoids are limited to virtual living, but with the use of the VR
                Dex a Hologram of your Pokenoid can accompany you in your real life adventures.

              I don't have a pokenoid. What can I do?
              Join us in thread for some lounging and shenanigans. You can also fill up your Pokedex and collect
              items in Dex RNG while you wait for a chance to win your own pokenoid!

              Does my pokenoid have to have a trainer?
              Not at all. However, they will be restricted to the virtual world as essentially an NPC. Your pokenoid can
              decide at any time to have a trainer, be that your own character or a character of another member. They
              may also choose to leave an existing trainer, either to be on their own or to go to another trainer.
              Sometimes lifepaths diverge. Not every parting has to be a final goodbye.

              How many pokenoids can I have?
              As many as you'd like! Really, we'd love everyone to have a big family of characters. The only condition
              is that we also don't want any pokenoids to be neglected. There aren't any activity measures in place
              outside of growths and evolutions, but you will need to pass an evaluation to have more than two
              pokenoids.

              Am I allowed to gift pokenoids to a friend?
              Of course! Be sure to specify at the time of sign up that you are a Play to Gift entrant (PTG).

              How much does a pokenoid cost?
              Well, right now nothing. We're very aware of the current state of Gaia's economy. It's safe to say that
              while the shop is in beta there will be no exchange of gold for membership.


              I have LGBTQ concerns, could you assure me?
              Absolutely! We welcome everyone here and as such our shop is made to be inviting to all of our
              members.

              I am morally opposed to brutality and subjugation, how does "catching" a pokenoid work?
              One does not simply catch a pokenoid. Pokeniods are friends, family. They will either choose to join you
              or will be willing to join you after testing your worthiness as a trainer. The latter may mean the strength of
              your moral integrity, your training skills, or something else.


              Are there actual pokemon in Pokemon Online?
              There are not. Reason being, pokenoids can shapeshift to their animal form or their human form. You'll
              see both in the world, tame and untame.

              What do people in Pokemon Online eat, virtually?
              Well lucky for your characters they'll have full access to all sorts of cuisine and styles of eating. In a
              virtual world, everything is possible without animal or pokemon cruelty!

              How does privacy work in Pokemon Online?
              Pokenoids and members alike can customize their privacy settings completely, so as to remain
              annonymous to other players and NPCs. Still, Pokemon Online is a safe space and highly regulated
              regarding abuse, requiring every member to register with their verified identity in the real world.
              Background checks are mandatory. There are also parental settings and trainer settings for underage
              members and pokenoids.
