Finvarra - verdigris, russet, and ivory.
Finvarra is a one-off Gaia color scheme that debuted in an item called Ard-RÃ Fionnbharr. I'm not sure who is the artist behind the item. It could possibly be created by an artist that is no longer working here on Gaia. The name 'finvarra' is an alternate spelling of 'Fionnbharr'. The origin item was based on a King from Irish folklore, Finvarra.
As of right now, no other items in this scheme have been personally released by Gaia that have not been made by a user aside from the origin item.
About the Scheme: Finvarra is made up of verdigris (a shade of teal blue/green), russet brown (it resembles bronze or copper like pennies), and ivory. I am thinking of incorporating another color to contrast it, but for now it uses 3 colors. Most finvarra uses completely solid color blocking, with occasional gradients for variations or when solid verdigris items already exist. Ombres work well when separation is needed. Hair is always russet, no ombres. This scheme works best with delicate and fancy items, fantasy items and items with multiple color blocking to allow balance. Both male and female items look good in this scheme. Fantasy tones that balance well with Finvarra are Latter-Day Cesar, Sable Candy, Cicero and Northman. I personally include sable candy and Cesar skin in my items. These are just personal preference though!
Scheme Name: At the time of naming the scheme, I thought 'finvarra' was the scheme name (the origin item had this in the tag), however there was actually no name for it. But now, this is what the scheme's name is. When item names are considered, feminine items are named 'Darling' and masculine items are 'Dignified' as a personal preference (for me). Using the scheme name is fine, too! ^^
