WELCOME!

This thread was made to house finished projects and mocks for future items in my own color scheme, called "Atlantis".
Anyone can post to contribute ideas or mocks for future items, or just to chat.

F. A. Q:

So, what is Atlantis?

COLORS: Russian violet (tagged as eggplant by Gaia), fuchsia (tagged as fabled pink by Gaia), seafoam (tagged as mint/dark mint by Gaia), and gold (tagged as canary by Gaia).

Any combination of these four colors is what comprises the scheme.

What does Atlantis mean, exactly?

As many of you know, Atlantis was supposedly a once great ancient civilization, which, due to some unforeseen circumstance, was swallowed by a huge tsunami and lost forever. The color scheme takes its inspiration not only from the Atlantis legend, but from the 1980's, as the color combo is incredibly 80's centric. I got the idea from this video, as well as from this silly spoof of Toto's "Africa" from "Moonbeam City".

So essentially, Atlantis is "underwater 1980's rockstar".

Despite the origins, the scheme also goes well on most fantasy/historical items, which is a majority of what you will see it on.

Can I make mocks? Will they be posted?

Absolutely. Mocks are encouraged, as are ideas for items to be mocked. If you wish, you can post your mocks of my scheme in the thread.

Thank you for not recoloring it into a friggin blob (lthough I feel like the edge of the dress pose could be perhaps ombred into mint to provide for a lil more contrast? *bricked since has no art skills whatsoever so should't be talking

I purposely avoided a gradient there actually since generally unless the hue/saturation/etc of the colours in the gradient are close it tends to not look all that great, so mint would've been too harsh and the legs were already pink so using that for the gradient would've just made it blend together again @v@
It'll probably look different in practice though, since I'm fairly certain the lower part of the skirt is partly transparent, so it won't be as much of a flat purple blob~ ouo b

ah I see. Huzzah for translucence!
(btw I'm super glad that you colored the legs and different color... was always depressed by how the original was just ... has so much potential but didn't quiiiite ...

and side note
hoooly the outlines on the cape for rookie and the sparkles in the masks *.* and the jewel pieces for masquerade are so well done emotion_kirakira
I hope the quality is maintained in the final product by the person in charge )
