PLEASE GIVE THE THREAD A THUMBS UP! <3
We need I am Poses for zOMG! animates, and companions. Some animates (fluffs, flamingos, gnomes, etc) are companions, but there's no I am Poses.
It'd be awesome if we could get I am Poses and companions for all (yes, why not all?) animates.

I saw another suggestion that would mesh well with this one: to give rewards for completing badges. The "I am" poses would make a very nice reward for the 5000 kill badges smile

Maybe it's best if it's in an EI,since there's A LOT OF POSES they have to cram into it. =3

However, if I could make one minor suggestion: instead of being a normal zOMG monster, make the "I am [Animated Type X]" be normal avatar-sized or waist height to a normal avatar. For example, if I were to equip a "I am a Garlic" item, my avatar would be a HUGE garlic (standing the same height as my normal avatar) rather than just an ordinary garlic.
Of course, anyone who didn't know about these items if the designers like this idea would probably freak at the sight of a full-sized Kokeshi Doll or a Fluff coming up to them and saying "Hi, wanna join my Crew?" >^_^<

DO WANT!
It could be done where, you have to kill 10-20 of the certain animated to get a certain Item, and then gather the rest of the recipe, and Ta-da! I am [animated here]

I guess this is relevant. emotion_sweatdrop Um I think it would be cool if they set the poses on the fluffs so you could have one of every fluff equipped and showing. I think it would be fun just to have an avatar with all of them. You could change your name to fluff master or something like that, if you really wanted to get in the spirit. I think you can only have four on at once before one is replaced. D:

My suggestion:
Summary:
Each area would have a new mini-boss quest available once you finished all the quests in the area. You would be assigned the quest, then have to kill that boss five times (twice or three times for EB, due to the difficulty of finding a competent crew if you're not a clan with omgz-our-players-rock people. EB would give you an 'I am zOMG!' item with every animated on it, instead of the area-specific ones) Once you did, the NPC would give you the recipe. The recipes would be soulbound (PLEASE read the whole section about this. I have it all underlined so that you know where it begins and ends) and you would need a certain number of each loot item available in the area in order to make it, depending on area difficulty.
That way, if you wanted to be a lawn gnome, but you were only in Zen, you could still get it.
Suggested numbers/stats
If you wanted "I am SS," you would have to beat Lorelei five times, then someone (Marshall, maybe?) would give you the "I am SS" recipe. You would then gather three of each available loot item and craft the item.
If you were in Otami, you'd do the same with the Coatl and Blaze, but with 5 of each loot item.
Gold Beach would be Duneslam or landshark (preferably duneslam, since I think it'd be easier for it to be an instance boss) and some other NPC (dunno who) -- with 8 of each loot item.
Old Aqueduct could be from finishing 50 waves of the hive, although you could do it in multiple goes. (each attempt would only count if you got to 10+) and you'd need 10 of each item.
Bass'ken could be either Mama/Papa Saw or Shewolf (I think Shewolf is more fun, personally. And then there would be more people willing to help out with shewolf. I saw someone charging to help someone with shewolf. stare ) You'd need 15 of each item.
Zen would be Kat's Doll, Natsumi (I think that's her name, right? sweatdrop ), and 20 of each item (dear lord, the price of silk would go even higher. lol ).
Bill's Ranch would be the OMGWTF, and 25 of each item. You'd need to report to Purvis Rubella Bill.
Village Greens would be the General, with 50 of each item, to Leon.
And the Sewers could be to Elizabeth for 100 of each item. (C'mon, it's not like there's a ton available. lol ) Maybe you could add the mini-boss from the intro making his return? The 'boss' of the gramsters or whatever.
And there could be the EB one, where you beat EB twice/three times (it's harder to find a competent crew. Not everyone is in ) and then talk to some other NPC (Maybe whoever it was that gives you the ring? I forget) to get the recipe. The amount of items needed for each area would be either the same as for each individual one (I think this option is better, since this item would be pretty much all of them wrapped up into one) or half of each one, rounded up.
And each time that you want to get the recipe, you would have to go through the quest again -- but with an additional defeat needed. So for your second recipe, you'd have to kill Kat 6 times, for a total of 11 times. 3rd would be 7 and 18 respectively. etc.
However, I also think that the recipe (and resulting item) should soulbound. Now, before you go 'omggasp you're an idiot etc. etc. etc.' hear me out. I think this would make it more challenging, and people who wanted to be, say, a kokeshi doll would have to go out and actually play zOMG until they got that far. As for people who ended up with a ton, and wouldn't be making a profit, you could set them to have high sell-back prices? So the EB recipe could be ~50k sellback, SS ~35k, Otami ~25k, Beach ~20k, Aqueduct ~12k, Bass'ken 7.5k, Zen ~4.5k, Bill's Ranch ~2.5k, Gardens ~1k, and the Sewers 500g.
(FYI, ~ means approximately equal to. This whole thing is my own idea, but the sellbacks are the most pulled out of my thin air hypothetical parts.)

Awesome idea. <3
I think it would be really awesome if it was an EI, but with a twist. Like maybe you could get a recipe for it by defeating the final boss, and to make it you'd need one of every item you can loot~ That would make it a bit harder to earn, but still, those of us who don't buy GC could still get it. Plus it would make zOMG a little more interesting ;D
And it could be called "I am zOMG!" or something : P
I totally sign!

I sign! Won't they make a storyline EI where you choose the story for your EI and let it evolve to a path?
e.g. Fluff path
Zen Garden Path
Bassken Path
That'd be cool =D
