Do not copy, edit, or steal any of the artwork. This is a 'Duh' rule, but it is very important. Please, don't be a jerk! The only exception is making banners and placing words over your pet. Thank you!

Be polite. This is for both PM's, on-board conversations, and guild forums. If you cannot be polite to me, the colorists/artists, and the other members, and feel you MUST be a jerk? Don't come around. I can't stand rude people.

Don't beg. Begging gets you no where. You are bound to get a AWA at some point, but begging only irritates me, the colorists, and the other members of AWA.

NEVER NEVER DIRECT-LINK. Thank you.

Roleplaying is not a necessity, but it is encouraged. Roleplaying is fun and if you are new, there are bound to be people willing to help. Also, roleplaying your AWA is the only way to gain breeding rights.

Roleplays can be done at our GUILD, or on AIM/Messenger systems. Light roleplaying can go on in the main thread as well. But please, keep it light.

You are welcome to plot! It is a great way to spice up roleplays, but don't use other peoples pets without asking.

Use your brain, and don't GM (godmode). It is annoying, bothersome and gets you no where. This includes any form of twinking, mary-suing, etc.

CHECK THE CERTING THREAD ON THE GUILD TO GET YOUR PETS CERTED/PICK UP THEIR CERTED IMAGES.

We do not do co-owning. Sorry.

No, you cannot sell your pets. If you have a breeding and don't want the cubs, give them away. You can play 'games' on-board, do roleplay contests, or even give them to me (iTrep) and I will give them out. If you are caught selling a pet, you will be warned, then sent to the blacklist if this is violated again.

We may take guest-colorists later on. Check up the current events in case we are.

Cosplays will be a 'no' for regular customs. Colorists may take cosplays if they feel they want to, other wise. DO NOT ASK.

'Spirits' are special, and iTrep will be offering them at different times. A person may get a Spirit only once every 5 months. Sorry.

Don't whine. It is simple.

Don't bribe us. I don't know about other colorists/artists, but it others me when people bribe me into doing breedings/customs.

THERE IS NO LIMIT TO THE AMOUNT OF REGULAR AWA's YOU CAN OWN.

Any questions? Feel free to PM me, iTrep if you do!

These rules may change at any time.

Check out flatsales/raffles/auctions, etc for specific rules on those events.

Can I have a Free AWA? This is a double-edged question. While the colorists are free to give away AWA's as they please, I WILL NOT tolerate any sort of begging. If I see a dedicated participant of the shop, and feel the urge to give them a freebie. I will. If I see someone begging I will warn them, and ignore them. Please. Do not beg.

Can you breed and cougri and a jage? Yes.

If I do mix-breed, will there be hybrid lines for the cubs? At one point, we had planned on hybrid lines, but the original artist ended up not wanting to do them, so no. There are no special lines. A explination of AWA breeding can be found in a post farther down on the front page.

How long does growing take? Growings will hopefully go as follows: Cub to Adult= One month.

Can I stop my cub from growing up? Sorry, but no, you cannot. You CAN roleplay your AWA as a cub if you are doing a plot or something, but you cub cannot be 'STUCK' as a cub. They will grow.

Can my AWA become a Spirit? Sorry, but no. Spirits are ancient. Your AWA? Isn't.

Can Spirits and AWA breed? Currently, it is not feasible.

Can my AWA die? If you want your AWA to die Roleplay-wise, sure. Other wise, no.

I want to breed. You need to roleplay to breed. Check on the post down farther to see what you need to do a breeding!

Where do we rp? For now, rps will be limited to PM's, the B/C Roleplay Board, and Messenger systems, until iTrep has the guild up and running.

How much does it cost to get an AWA? Flatsales are 3k, auctions/raffles/etc vary.

How much are customs? Check in the customs post!

Can same-gender couples breed? Sadly, no they cannot. Sorry. But that doesn't mean they can't RAISE cubs. They just can't...have them...together?

When will the guild be up? When i am not poor and can afford to pay for it. ; A;

Do you like me? I like most people. Don't annoy me, and I will most likely like you too. <3

Can I be a guest colorist? For right now, I am kind against guest-colorists unless I know you really well. Sorry. ; n;

What are Spirits and how do I get one? Spirits are holy ghosts of Estamas, who live in the 'motherbeing' of each tree, rock, plant, and feeling. To get one, you need to kinda...watch around. iTrep is the only one who does Spirits, so she will be offering slots for them every once in a while.

How much do Spirits cost? iTrep's price on Spirits will flux mattering on her mood. Sorry.

This shop is stupid. That's nice, now please, crawl back into what ever dank smelly hole you came from and leave me alone. <3

You are just using other peoples idea's! Really people? God. It's a shop, made for fun. If it upsets you, go somewhere ELSE! I am sorry this shop is like other shops. IT IS BOUND TO HAPPEN! Holy hell.

We love you Tree! And I love you. <3

This is where you can find any information you need about the history of Estamas, the currents families, and what solits and families mean.

Imagine.

A world, much like our own, yet so different. The great powers of humanity have ripped up the heart of Mother Earth, destroyed her, left her with nothing. And in the end, their greed was their demise. They had taken and taken from the earth, and never returned anything. The lands of North America, where we start our story, are now brittle and dead. The deer and elk and natural prey are gone, chased from their home. The waters are spoiled, poisonous and the fish and waterlife, vanished. The great hunters, the cougars, starve. And human kind attempts to survive, building cold metal skeletons that belch black smoke and leak death.

The cougars are a loner nation, preferring small groups over large ones, but in this time of peril they grouped together. They knew what had to be done. They would travel to the south, for there were stories of a land safe from the humans there, and while many decided not to go, still many more decided to leave.

The travel was long, cold, and merciless. Many starved, others died from wounds and humans and old age. Their numbers depleated, but still they moved on.

They called themselves the Cougri, and it was their proud family name, and when they came upon the rich, living forest of Estamas, they quickly claimed it as their own. But there were arguments within the Cougri. Who was the leader? Who!? The group was split. The one side, who believed in the more peaceful aspects of life became the Sobreveri, while the more violent, ruthless group called themselves Pelgrio.

The two groups quickly made their stake on different lands, and for a long time, it was peaceful. The Cougri, now the name of all cougar-kind -despite family name-, believed they were the only hunters of this land. They were wrong.

The Sobreveri were the first to meet with the Jage, a deep, mystic community. The Jage were jaguars, the true hunters of this forest. But they were peaceful, albeit mysterious. They taught the Sobreveri much, and in return the Sobreveri gave them stories. The Jage loved stories, and quickly there were tales of all the Cougri hero's and their plights.

When the Pelgrio met the Jage though, things became much more terrible. The Pelgrio planted a seed of mistrust in the Jage, and soon the jaguars were fighting amongst themselves. The Infrien sided with the Pelgrio, who demanded that the Sobreveri be sent away from Estamas. The Sederists sided with the Sobreveri, and demanded the Pelgrio and Infrien, know as the Verdad, be disbanded. When the Verdad ignored their demands, a war was born.

It last years upon years, and much blood was spilled, but in the end the Verdad was disbanded, it's people scattering across the forest, calling themselves 'solits'. Solitary, or small family-less, cougri and jage.

The Sederists and the Sobreveri settled into their territories, and the solits spread across the forest. And over the years the War was forgotten, becoming whispers and bedtime tales. The solits, for the most part, forgot the insult that had been put upon them. Leaders came and went in the Sederists and Sobreveri families, and many generations were born.

And so it has been for two hundred years that the forest of Estamas as lived in peace under the watchful eyes of the Spirits; a mysterious entity (or perhaps entities) born from the Jage god Viere. They live, it is said, in the mother-being of every rock, tree, emotion, grass, and creature, and it is also said that they have come from every corner of the earth to protect the last sanctuary of this earth.

The Families of Estamas:

CURRENT STATUS OF FAMILIES:

While over the years, the cougri and jage have prospered, many of those born to the Sobreveri and the Sederists have left to live the lives of solits, so it is the worry of the families that if they do not find new recruits, they will disappear.

Estamas is currently inhabited by two major families; the Sobreveri and the Sederists.

Sobreveri:
The Sobreveri consist of only Cougri, and are a friendly family. They welcome visitors into their home with open hearts, but their eyes are always watchful. The leader of the Sobreveri is currently Edelia, who is in her middle years. She leads the Sobreveri with a gentle, yet strong paw, and has done so four many years.

The Sobreveri are a mainly 'hunter' oriented family, and care little about religious exercises, though they do pay homage to Fuert, the Spirit of the Hunt. They believe he watches over them, and gives them the strength they need for the -sometimes- excruciating hunts. They celebrate Fuert's Day when the moon as completed its cycle and hides from view to rest. They believe this is the day that Fuert comes back from his hunt in the sky. These festivals are usually small and quiet. Their larger festival, called The Forgotten, is the day when they make merry and spread love amongst their kindred in respect to all those who have died over the year. The day for this celebration is marked down by the Sobreveri's sage, and is usually the last day of the year.

The ladder of hierarchy in the Sobreveri is as follows:

Fuertian/Fuertias: The leader of the Sobreveri. Male or Female
Fuerti/Fuerta: The sons/daughters of the Fuertian/Fuertias

Fu'consote/Fu'consota: The consort of the Fuertian/Fuertias

Sabi: The wise man of the Sobreveri, always male.

Sabi'letra: Students of the Sabi. Females are taught to be healers, males are taught to be sages.

Salu: The High Healer of the Sobreveri, always female

Salu'et: The lower class healers of the Sobreveri, rarely male, mainly female. Usually there are five Salu'et beneath the Salu.

Fu'garra: Hunters, female and male

Fu'col: Guards of the territory, female and male

Fu: Any regular member of the family

Fu'ba: Cubs

Sederists:

The Sederists, currently led by their second in command, Taro, are a mystic cult, a family known for their strong herbs and fortune-words. They are difficult to come across, seeing as they prefer to hide themselves, but if one finds his or herself stumbling across their lands, they will find an assortment of both cougri and jage. The Sederists care little for outer apperance, and more for the soul beneath. They worship many figures, but their greatest deity would be Hayan, Spirit of the Willow. They believe she is the oldest Spirit of Estamas, and the wisest. Hayan is said to visit those who seek wisdom, in their dreams, where she judges them. And if worthy, she gifts them with her knowledge. If not worthy, she leaves them with nothing.

The Sederists have no great holidays, but unlike the Sobreveri, they are praise birth. To the Sederists, when one has cubs, they have accessed great power, for Hayan's first gift to the Jage was that of birth. Births are usually large celebrations, and the priests all come forth and give blessing to the child. Then the parents and (if they have any) their parents choose the name for the child.

The ladder of hierarchy for the Sederists is as follows:

Enten: The male leader aspect of the Sederists.
Compren: The female leader aspect of the Sederists.
(There must always be an Enten and a Compren. They may be sister and brother, mates, or they may not even know each other. If one part is missing, control goes to the second in command, the Yarrow)

Yarrow: The second in command, until the Enten and Compren are chosen. Male or female. Usually the Yarrow is chosen as either the Entren or the Compren when a opposite aspect is found.

Ni'yarrow: Title for the consort of the Yarrow, if there is a mate.

Lengua: The high priest and story-teller of the Sederists. Always Female

Leng'na: Students of the Lengua. Males may study to become Travan, Henum, or Leng'lu. Females may study to become Travan, Henum, Leng'nith. The Lengua usally takes on 6 students, three of each gender.

Travan: Travelling story-tellers and mystics, helping to spread knowledge and seek those who wish to learn the arts. Male and Female. Though originally a 'Males' job, females tend to find it hard to be a Travan, with the teasing and mockery.

Henum: Herb-workers, the healers of the Sederists. Male and Female

Leng'lu: Male priests and fortune-tellers. There are usually two Leng'lu beneath the Lengua.

Leng'nith: Female priests and fortune-tellers, usually the next Lengua is picked from this group. Usually there are two Leng'nith beneath the Lengua.

Tomai: The hunters and warriors of the Sederists. Male and Female

Sepo: Any member of the Sederists.

Haya: Cubs.

Definitions of Families and Solits:

Families/Family: This the collection of a group of cougri and/or jage who have a similar belief and have set up a hierarchy of some sort. A family is the equivalent of a pack/pride/society.

Solit/Solites: Solit-lifestyle is when a cougri or jage decides to live without any strict law. Usually nomadic, a solit may have a small family, and even settle down. But they do not have any hierarchy structure or law. Solites is the plural of solit.
