Geez...I could complain all day about my roomates XD

Im not particularly a neat freak, but I get annoyed by little, habitual things, things that shouldn't happen...

Like plugged in hair appliances in the sink left by roomies who are still home...
Why yes, yes I'd like a fire hazard, please.
SO lucky these sinks are new and don't drip...

Giant mutant hair/dust balls that roll around like tumbleweeds...They don't appear until my roomates with long hair get home...

The kitchen is ALWAYS a warzone. Always. Stuff all over the counters, the stove is unspeakably greasy most of the time, and after a while I get tired of cleaning it on my own...so right now its just going to stay gross >P

Seattle Coffee Mug Cake, modified version
Appliances Needed: Oven, whisk, mixer, 2 bowls

Taki's Level of Difficulty for the Average College Student:
stressed

Source: foodnetwork.com

greased baking pan
7 sweet dinner rolls (recommended: King's Hawaiian)
1 box (1-pound, 14-ounces) cinnamon swirl coffee cake mix (recommended: Pillsbury)
3/4 cup hot water
1 teaspoon instant espresso (Take can't find this, so she uses 4 teaspoons mocha powder)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 cup whole milk
1 tablespoon sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Butter and flour a 10-cup bundt pan or square baking dish. Slice 1-inch off tops of rolls. Tear tops into 1-inch pieces; set aside. Place bottoms of rolls, cut side up, in prepared pan. Combine coffee cake batter mix (reserve cinnamon swirl packet), water, instant espresso, oil, and 2 eggs in a large bowl. Beat until well blended. Pour half of batter over rolls. Sprinkle with contents of cinnamon swirl packet.

Whisk remaining 1 egg, milk, and sugar in another bowl to blend. Add reserved roll tops to milk mixture; set aside until milk mixture is absorbed. Pour bread mixture over cake batter in pan, and then pour remaining batter over. Using a skewer or wooden chopstick, swirl batters together. Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near the center of cake comes out clean. Cool cake in pan on a cooling rack for 25 minutes. Invert cake onto cooling rack; remove pan. Place cake right side up on a platter and serve warm.
Salsbury Steaks
Level of difficulty: stressed - mixing and screwing around with raw meat. xp
Required: Stovetop, large frypan (with lid), mixing bowl
Source: My Mama-san. whee

Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger (or however much is desired)
2 eggs
Dried onion
Garlic (powder or fresh both work well)
Pepper
Vegetable oil
Flour
Water

arrow Beat the eggs in the mixing bowl, then add the hamburger, dried onion, garlic powder (or peeled, minced garlic), and pepper and mix it together.
arrow Make patties out of the hamburger mixture; you want ones that aren't too thick, so they'll cook all the way through.
arrow Put the oil and the patties in the frypan on medium-high heat, and brown both sides of each patty; the idea here isn't to cook the patty, but to get the flavors and drippings off them.
arrow Remove the patties from the pan, and set aside.
arrow Create a flour/water mixture in a seperate container (I use a a regular cup), and add to the pan to thicken the drippings into gravy.
arrow Put the patties back into the pan, cover, turn down heat to medium, and let simmer for about 25 - 30 minutes.
Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or french bread.

Tips:
Add veggies like mushrooms just before making the gravy.
Use dried onion soup mix instead of the seperate seasonings.

--I love this recipe because it's good, and really filling. It's one of those foods that "sticks to your ribs" as it were. :3

I was listening to Risky Game and Kurenai no Namida no hito yo earlier today and now I'm watching Harukanaru Toki no Naka de Hachiyo Sho. It reminds me a lot of Fushigi Yuugi with the 4 gods theme going on. @_@

I'm dorking out to anime tonight because my western comic books only come out once a month. I need something to fill the void until Teen Titans and Runaways are released. Why not look to another country? 8D

Edit: I'm also a sucker for Ishida Akira and Midorikawa Hikaru. Kaworu Nagisa and Tamahome are my favorites from them, respectively.

Midorikawa Hikaru! I love him XD Was has he been up to lately, it doesn't seem like he's doing as much...
I love how he has a lot of serious roles but his characters have such a dead pan crazy humor...

Kenichi Suzumura is also a favorite of mine XD

::just googled Harukanaru Toki:: Holy crap...look at that voice cast o_O

I don't think Midorikawa Hikaru's been doing much lately.

LOL must be a ton of characters. I know Ishida Akira has a ton, too.
